Is Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) a new game from miHoYo developers - the studio behind Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail,... Will this game have enough uniqueness to not be overshadowed by its predecessors?
Zenless Zone Zero follows an open-world action style similar to its predecessor Genshin Impact, but instead of a medieval world, it's set in a futuristic city. ZZZ carries a significant weight on its shoulders as Hoyoverse has released several successful titles in the market.

During a media exchange at Gamescom 2023 in Cologne (Germany), CEO Zhenyu Li had the following conversation:
- PV: What preparations has Zenless Zone Zero made to ensure the next success for the studio? Hoyoverse's games face rigorous standards, so do you foresee any particular pressures or competition for this fledgling project?
- Zhenyu Li: I don't think we have too much pressure or competition. That's also something I've told my development team. We don't compete and we don't compare ourselves to any other products. What's really important to us is to create a great product, one that we're satisfied with. We wonder if ultimately it will be welcomed by the community or not? That really depends on the players. All I can really do is create the best product possible.
From Li's remarks, players can trust that this is a game worth enjoying. In fact, ZZZ's demo has left many gamers pleased with its youthful style, diverse weapon usage, and distinctive yet approachable combat compared to other games currently available. This project could set another milestone for miHoYo's success.
