Guide to Creating Classroom Diagrams in Word 2019
In this article, we'll guide you through creating a simple classroom diagram in Word 2019 using table creation, alignment, and appropriate positioning to achieve the quickest and most accurate classroom diagram.
Step 1: Open Microsoft Word on your computer.
Step 2: To create a classroom diagram in Word, you'll perform actions to create a table. First, divide Word into the first two columns. Go to Page Layout -> select Columns -> then click Two to divide Word into 2 columns. If you need more columns, you can choose 3 or 4... depending on the number of rows of seats in the classroom.
Step 3: Create a table. Go to Insert -> select Table to begin drawing the seating chart for students. Typically, each desk will accommodate 4 or 3 students. For example, for a desk with 3 students -> You click Table and drag 3 rows horizontally and the corresponding number of vertical rows.
In the adjacent column, you perform similar actions to create the appropriate number of desks for the classroom. You can click on the corner of the table to adjust the size of the table to best fit your needs.
Step 4: Next, you need to create additional desks for the teacher. Typically, the teacher's desk will be positioned on the left or right side of the classroom. Go to Insert -> select Table -> and select only one cell. Above in the middle is the blackboard, where you can draw and extend it, clearly labeling it as 'Teacher's Desk.' Then, for each cell, enter the names of the students or students in the class corresponding to each desk.
When you divide into 2 columns, if you want to write the title for the classroom diagram at the top, this text will not be located between the 2 rows of classrooms. The solution is to go to Columns -> and select One to switch to 1 column, then align it in the middle, and the text row will be centered and not split.
Step 5: Finally, input the complete names of students into the cells you've drawn -> then proceed to adjust font styles, colors, and sizes to fit, and you've completed creating the class diagram in Word.
