President Ho Chi Minh is a beloved leader of the Vietnamese nation. His life is a noble symbol of revolutionary spirit and the stories about Him always impart valuable lessons and significance to us.
During the resistance against the French, there was a comrade who used to work in traffic protection before accompanying Uncle Ho on a trip abroad before the August Revolution often got hot-tempered and scolded the soldiers. Aware of this, Uncle Ho gently taught through a small story. On a hot summer day, when the comrade was sweating profusely, Uncle Ho stood waiting. When the comrade came to greet Uncle Ho, He pointed to one of the two glasses of water on the table and said:
- Have a drink.
Because the water was too hot, the comrade exclaimed:
- How can you drink water this hot!
Uncle smiled:
- Ah, I see. So you prefer drinking cool, refreshing water, right?
- Yes, that's correct.
Uncle solemnly said:
- Hot water, neither you nor I can drink. When you're hot, neither your soldiers nor I can absorb. Gentleness, calmness, like a glass of cool water, are easier to drink, easier to absorb.
The comrade was enlightened by Uncle's words. He quickly apologized and promised to correct his mistake. The story brings us a profound lesson about handling situations wisely. When we get angry, we work ineffectively, risking losing ourselves and making irrational decisions. Our anger can inadvertently harm those around us, leaving them with negative impressions. Conversely, if we regain our composure and handle things delicately, we'll achieve better results.
Ho Chi Minh is a great leader, a beloved father of the nation. He is the beacon of ideals and faith in the hearts of the Vietnamese people. Though He has gone far, His teachings remain timeless for many generations. In Him, we often see a simple lifestyle, a wise way of handling things, very Eastern yet very modern. Though this story is concise, it leaves us with profound lessons, urging us to learn and follow His moral example.

2. You will play the role of musician Van Cao, write an essay recounting the creation of the song 'Marching Song'
Today, the song 'Marching Song' is no stranger to the Vietnamese people and has become the National Anthem of the nation. But how the song came to be is not widely known. Allow me to recount the story of that historical event.
'Marching Song' marked a significant turning point in my life when I found my life's ideals. Amidst a life immersed in boredom, disappointment, and despair, I contemplated giving up all arts - painting, poetry, music, until the unexpected appearance of my older brother Ph. D redirected my life. Through Ph. D, I reunited with Vu Quy - an older brother who had long been following my artistic endeavors.
After talking with Vu Quy, I found a new path for myself, one tied to the revolution. At that time, I eagerly wanted to receive a gun and join the armed forces, but instead, I was assigned the task of artistic creation. This surprised me, but quickly, I regained my spirits and prepared to compose to serve the resistance.
To boost the morale of the army, I was tasked with composing a song. I had never composed revolutionary music before, never joined the armed forces, and had never even held a gun. I only knew familiar scenes, the railway station, Hang Bong street, the lakeside road I passed by every day. I had not met the soldiers in the first training camp to know how they could sing.
The love for the country and the fervor in my soul inspired me to create the melodies and lyrics of 'Marching Song'. I felt like I was living in some forest in the Viet Bac battlefield. Ph. D and Vu Quy were the first to know about my song. Nguyen Dinh Thi was the one who vocalized my song, and he couldn't help but be moved.
I also didn't expect that shortly after, on August 17, 1945, during the rally of Hanoi officials, the song 'Marching Song' was sung in unison by thousands of people in front of the Opera House Square.
As thousands of voices rose, overwhelming emotions surged within me, tears streamed down my face. In just moments, leaflets of 'Marching Song' were distributed to everyone in the ranks of officials present at the rally. Suddenly, a familiar voice echoed through the loudspeakers, I recognized Ph. D's voice. He had raised the red flag with a yellow star up high. In that moment, his image, his voice captivated tens of thousands of people.
The second time, during the rally on August 19, I also heard tens of thousands of voices rise like the roaring of a proud nation against the face of imperialist invaders.
'Marching Song' came into being like that, I am very proud that the song was chosen as the national anthem of Vietnam, the song is not only my pride but also the pride of the entire nation.
Besides the stories suggested by Mytour, do you have any other stories? If so, you can recall and share them with everyone! Wishing you meaningful moments of learning under the beloved school roof!
