Crafting an Essay: Reviewing Descriptive Writing, Short 1
Question 1:
The brilliance and uniqueness of the passage lie in the author's use of personification, comparison, and innovative associations. It stimulates the reader's creative abilities and explores fresh and imaginative depictions of natural phenomena.
Question 2:
Opening: Introducing the enchanting world of blooming lotuses in space and time
Body of the essay:
+ Describe the panoramic view of the lotus pond
+ Provide detailed descriptions (lotus flowers, lotus leaves, lotus roots, …)
+ Describing the progression of time from day to night, and how the lotus appears and withers
Closing: Reflect on the emotions when observing the lotus pond. What connection do you feel with this flower?

When describing a toddler learning to walk and talk, portray details such as: laughter, walking posture, gaze, little hands, ….
I will opt for a chronological order in describing the progression of time (initially how the toddler walks, and then what changes occur)
