Understanding the Team Dynamics for Furina
DPS Characters
At this point, we have three 5-star DPS characters from Fontaine with continuous HP manipulation abilities: Lyney, Neuvillette, and Wriothesley. All three are excellent companions for Furina, each with their own unique strengths and abilities.
- Neuvillette: The top DPS choice for Furina's team. When used correctly, Neuvillette can generate 112 stacks of Heat Accumulation for Furina within 6 seconds, rapidly charging her ultimate.
- Wriothesley: Also capable of manipulating a large amount of HP and recovering through bursts, but requires a dedicated healer due to lower self-healing compared to Neuvillette.
- Lyney: While possessing self-HP manipulation abilities, Lyney prefers a Pyro-focused team rather than reaction-based ones. Thus, you can still use Lyney, but it won't be as effective as the other two characters.

You might wonder about Hu Tao and Xiao - characters with self-HP manipulation abilities. You can still use them with Furina, however, both have their own issues that make them less than ideal DPS choices from Fontaine.
- Hu Tao: Hu Tao aims to keep her HP below 50% to gain a 33% Pyro damage boost, but Furina can't accumulate Heat due to her Elemental Skill stopping at 50% HP.
- Xiao: Better suited for Furina than Hu Tao as he doesn't require maintaining HP below 50%. He also has continuous HP drain capabilities, albeit lacking self-healing, which slows down Heat Accumulation. All you need to ensure is enough energy for Xiao to use his burst.

Additionally, you can still utilize traditional DPS characters, as they benefit greatly from Furina's damage buff regardless of element. Names like Eula, Ayaka, Raiden, Alhaitham, Noelle, Cyno,... will all perform better with Furina in the team. In fact, you can even build Furina as a DPS and include her in a National team with Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu, achieving very high effectiveness.

Currently, healers in Genshin Impact can be divided into 2 types: single-instance healers (or short-term healers) and multi-instance healers. Each type has its own advantages when used in Furina's team, depending on the needs and DPS preferences.
Single-instance healers typically have the ability to restore a large amount of HP to the entire team, instantly boosting Heat Accumulation. Multi-instance healers usually only heal single targets and stack buffs more slowly, but keep the team's HP healthy throughout the duration of their healing abilities.
- Baizhu: Arguably the best healer currently for building a team around Furina. He possesses the ability to restore a large amount of HP with his Elemental Skill and provides a light healing effect with his Burst, ensuring team survivability.
- Jean: Jean's Burst has the capability to restore a significant amount of HP to the entire team, maximizing Heat Accumulation immediately. It then continues to heal and spread cleansing effects, extremely useful for teams relying on elemental damage.
- Charlotte: Just released in Furina's banner, so she may be difficult to obtain, but she's also a viable option for Furina's team even at C0 if you can meet the high energy requirements for her Burst.

- Mika: Offering both team-wide and single-target healing, Mika is a solid choice for physical DPS-oriented Furina teams. Although the attack speed boost may not be particularly useful for claymore wielders, elemental DPS characters like Wanderer, Wriothesley, Heizou will greatly benefit from Mika.
- Kokomi: With Furina, Kokomi becomes an ideal on-field character. She boasts high HP, exceptional healing abilities, reliable damage, and requires minimal energy recharge when on the field, allowing you to focus on building damage (HP).
- Jade Chamber's Blessing: Not a character, but certainly a healer. With this weapon, any elemental character can fulfill the role of healing for the team. While its healing capability isn't enough to keep the entire team above 50% HP against Furina's pull, it can still provide a comfortable experience during gameplay.
Team Building for Furina
Below, Mytour shares some reasonable and powerful Furina team compositions with the above choices. But don't let these suggestions limit your creativity!
- Neuvillette, Furina: The last two slots in this team composition can be very flexible, depending on the enemies and what you need. For example, Kuki + Nahida, Jean + Fischl, Charlotte + Kazuha,... You'll have a formidable team capable of annihilating any La Hoan stage without much effort.
- Xiao, Faruzan (C6), Jean, Furina: Three Anemo characters help solve each other's energy problems, and Furina can accumulate Heat very quickly thanks to Xiao and Jean. Its only drawback is the lack of shields, but it's not a significant issue.
- Noelle, Furina: In this team, Noelle acts as a shield generator, heals the entire team, and buffs enemies. Noelle's ability to switch characters without consuming energy is also useful when you need to charge other members. We can use Xingqiu + Yelan, Gorou + Albedo,...

- Hu Tao, Furina, Yelan/Xingqiu, Jean: A Hu Tao team with 2 traditional Hydro characters but replacing one of them with Furina. Due to the need to accumulate Heat for Furina, we have to use Jean instead of Zhongli, and you won't have a reliable shield. Furina's buff and Jean's cleansing will compensate for the damage loss from Hu Tao's HP being above 50%.
- Kokomi, Furina: Similar to the Neuvillette team, the last two positions in this team composition are flexible. You can play a pure Hydro team (Kazuha + Xingqiu/Yelan), an Eruption team (fully invest in Kokomi's HP, Nahida + Kuki), use Electro resonance (Fischl + Lynette/Sucrose),...
- Ayaka, Furina, Shenhe, Charlotte: A simple yet highly effective Freeze team, lacking the cleansing for Ayaka but in return, we have Charlotte wielding Dragonspine's Blessing. You can also replace Shenhe with Kazuha for mob gathering.

Conclusion
The characters and team compositions shared by Mytour above have surely helped readers find ways to build a team for Genshin Impact's latest deity. Best of luck with your gacha pulls, and see you again in future articles!
