Essential Tools for Crafting 3D Christmas Tree Cards
- Sturdy cover in your preferred color
- White, green, or any colored paper of your choice
- Glue, scissors
- Note: The inner paper color should contrast with the cover color, preferably standing out more.
Creating 3D Christmas Tree Cards
Step 1: Fold the sturdy cover paper to create the card frame
Step 2: Create snowman, gift box, and Christmas tree shapes from the colored paper prepared earlier. Cut each shape from 3 - 5 layers to stack on top of each other for a 3D effect on the card
Step 3: Arrange horizontally and glue each shape onto the inside of the card, with each shape consisting of 3 - 5 layers stacked on top of each other
Note: It's advisable to glue the shapes onto one half of the card, leaving the other half blank for writing beautiful messages. Additionally, the exterior of the card should not be overly decorated; simply write 'Merry Christmas' or use simple decorative ribbons.

Step 1:
- Fold the sheet of sturdy colored cardstock in half to make the card.
- For the Christmas tree, fold layers of colored paper like a fan, creating small segments.
- Cut the folded paper fan into sections, gradually decreasing in size.
Step 2:
- Open the base of the card, and glue the smallest folded paper segment of the Christmas tree onto one side of the card, following the fold lines of the card.
- Continue to glue progressively larger segments down in a triangular shape, resembling the silhouette of a Christmas tree.

Step 3:
- Using scissors, press down on the glued paper pieces, apply glue to the remaining surface of these paper pieces, and close the remaining part of the card, pressing tightly. Wait for 1-2 minutes for the glue to dry completely, then open the card to complete the 3D Christmas tree section.
Step 4:
- Next, cut and glue a star onto the top of the Christmas tree.
- Cut a small piece of brown paper as the base of the Christmas tree.
- At this point, our fan-style 3D Christmas tree greeting card is complete.
- You can write 'Merry Christmas' on the outside of the card and warm wishes inside to the recipient.
