Hotmail accounts bear resemblance to Gmail accounts. If you wish to use Gmail, you need to register for Gmail, and similarly, creating a Hotmail account allows you to send and receive emails from colleagues and friends.
Creating a Hotmail account doesn't require a phone number.
To create a Hotmail account, simply follow a few simple registration steps. Currently, Microsoft provides users with two free email services: @outlook.com and @hotmail.com. In our previous article, we guided you on how to create an Outlook email. Now, in this article, we continue to introduce you to how to create a Hotmail account. Let's explore together.

1. Guide on Creating a Hotmail Account
Step 1: Open your web browser Firefox, Coc Coc, or Google Chrome, then click here to register.
Step 2: Enter your information into the fields below:

Name: Display name on your account
After filling in the information in the Name field, click on 'Or get new email address' then proceed to enter information about your User Name

User name: Your Outlook account name, click the arrow icon to select hotmail.com
Create password: Password for accessing your mailbox, the password here must be at least 8 characters long including letters, numbers, and special characters.
Reenter password: Enter the password again.

Country/ region: The country where you live and work, select Vietnam.
Postal Code: Postal code consisting of 5 digits, for simplicity here I'll use 12345.
Birthday: Enter your date, month, and year of birth.
Gender: Select your gender, Male for male, Female if you are female.
Country code: Country area code, select Vietnam (+84).
Phone number: Enter your current mobile phone number, and remember to omit the first 0.
Enter the text displayed on the screen correctly. If unclear, you can click New to get a new code or click Audio to listen to the code being read aloud.
Successfully creating it, Microsoft will redirect you to a welcoming page, no need to worry about that.
To send and receive emails, simply access: Hotmail.com, after the initial login, you will be presented with 2 options:
- Create an Alias: Create a nickname for this email account. If you choose this option, you will be directed to account confirmation. It's advisable to choose either the Text or Email option.
- If you choose SMS: You enter the last 4 digits of your phone number into the text box and click the Send code button. Microsoft will send an SMS to your phone, open the message to get the confirmation code, enter it back on the website, then click the Submit button.
- If you choose Email: enter your email again into the text box and then click submit. Afterward, open this email, click the link in the email to confirm.
- Skip for now: You should choose this option if you don't want to create a nickname or go through the hassle of confirmation.
2. Create an account, Hotmail mailbox doesn't require a phone number
This guide on registering for a Hotmail account without a phone number is mainly for those who want to fake their IP. You can create an account using the following steps:
- Step 1: Access the registration website HERE. At this point, the interface will appear as shown below.
- Step 2: Enter the email account you want to create. Then Click on the arrow to switch from @Outlook.com to @Hotmail.com. After that, click on 'Next'.
- Step 3: Enter the password in the 'Create password' field (You can tick the 'Show password' box to display the password you wrote). Then, click on 'Next'.
- Step 4: Enter your first name in the 'First name' field and your last name in the 'Last name' field. Then, click on 'Next'.
- Step 5: In the 'Country/region' field, select the country where you currently live, and in the 'Birthdate' field, choose your date of birth. Then, click on 'Next'.
- Step 6: Enter the captcha code into the field. Then, click on 'Next'. If you can't see it clearly, you can choose New to refresh the captcha code or you can click on Audio to listen to this captcha code.
That's it, the Hotmail registration process is complete.
After filling in all necessary information, click on Create account to proceed with account creation. Your creation process has been successful, and you can start using it immediately.
