To create an iTunes account, you need to download and install iTunes on your computer or laptop. Get the latest 12.3 version of iTunes here: Download iTunes. Installing iTunes is quite straightforward. If not installed successfully, refer to how to install iTunes for guidance.
Step 1: Launch the iTunes tool, click on the Account menu, and select Sign In...
Step 2: The Apple ID login dialog appears. Click on Create New Apple ID.
Step 3: The Apple ID creation interface opens. Enter the required information for the Apple ID you want to create, such as your email address and password. Check the By clicking Continue... box to confirm Apple's terms. Press Continue to proceed to the next step.
Note: You need to use an active email account or can create a new Gmail account to register for Apple ID. The password must be at least 8 characters long, including uppercase, lowercase letters, and at least 1 digit. Apple will determine the security strength of the password you use. Avoid using easily guessable or previously used passwords from other websites.
Step 4: Next, enter personal information for the account, including
- Title: Mr, Mrs, or Ms depending on your gender
- First Name: First name
- Surname: Last name
- Date of Birth: Birthdate
Make choices and answer 3 security questions for the account. These will be used for future password recovery if needed. After completion, press Continue to proceed to the next step.
Step 5: Select None for Payment Method and proceed to enter your personal information in the Billing Address section as required, then press Continue.
Step 6: The interface will now prompt you to enter the verification code sent to the email address used to register the Apple ID. Enter the verification code and press Verify
You will receive a completion notification for creating your Apple ID. Press Continue to proceed.
The Apple ID login dialog reappears, and you can now log in with your new Apple ID.
