A delightful dish made from sweet and creamy pumpkin, irresistibly easy to eat, and packed with vitamins and nutrients that will help your little one overcome any pickiness!
Guide to Making Creamy Pumpkin Ice Cream Soup (serving 3)
This dish is not only for little ones but can also be used as an appetizer or breakfast for the whole family. To cook for 3 people, you will need: 600g chicken bones, 800g pumpkin, 1 onion, 900ml fresh cream, a bit of white wine, butter, salt, and 3 bay leaves.

This dish is delicious, nutritious, and easy to eat; with the right decoration, the little ones will love it!
First, peel the pumpkin, remove the seeds, wash it thoroughly, and cut it into small pieces. Cut the onions into small, pomegranate-sized pieces.
Boil the chicken bones briefly, then rinse them clean, simmer over low heat until tender, skim off the foam to make a clear broth. Once the bones are tender enough, strain the water out.

Cut the pumpkin into small pieces for easier tenderness.
Heat the pan, add a tablespoon of butter, melt it, then stir-fry the onions until golden. Add bay leaves + 2 teaspoons of white wine, then add pumpkin, mix well, and cook until tender.
Transfer the sautéed vegetable mixture into the pot of broth, bring to a boil, skim off any impurities, season with seasoning cubes, salt to taste, and simmer the pumpkin until tender over medium heat. When the pumpkin is tender, let it cool slightly, then remove the bay leaves and puree the pumpkin.
Pour the pureed pumpkin into the pot, continue to simmer over low heat and add fresh cream, stirring well until you can turn off the heat.

Add more fresh cream for a sweeter taste that's easy to eat.
When serving the soup, make it more appealing for your little ones by drizzling fresh cream in cute patterns on top! This dish can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated for a delicious, warm meal anytime. Besides the little ones, adults can enjoy this dish with crispy toasted bread for a delightful breakfast.

Simple Yet Unforgettable Family Meals
We have 2 little ones at home, one is 6, and the other is 2, both at that age where they can be a bit picky about food. Preparing meals for the two of them every time feels like a delightful challenge.
Therefore, no matter how busy the week is, my husband always takes the whole family to Pepperoni’s at 123 K1 Giang Vo for a meal on the weekends, perfectly balancing the culinary preferences of both the little ones and the adults at home.

Pepperoni's pizza is a favorite for our entire family.
The Pumpkin Soup at Pepperoni’s is a favorite of our youngest every time we visit. So, I decided to try making it at home. However, it's quite labor-intensive, and with my job, I rarely get the chance to prepare it.
Our eldest has a thing for Italian pasta. Every time we go, she insists on trying a new style, from minced beef with tomato sauce, tube pasta with shrimp sauce to egg noodles stir-fried with crab meat. We usually order a pizza, grilled ribs, and an additional salad. The whole family of 4 ends up satisfied, and the best part is that I don't have to cook, and the two kids eat their meals without leaving anything behind!

Additionally, the family set is a regular order for all of us.
If your whole family goes to Pepperoni’s for a meal, I'll let you in on a secret – they are currently offering a 38% discount on the family meal set, including 1 large pizza, 3 BBQ ribs, 1 minced beef Italian pasta, and 1 special salad. Lately, our family always opts for this set to save some bucks!
