Backing up your Samsung or any other phone regularly is advisable to avoid data loss. The method introduced here by taimienphi will help you address the issue if you don't have Custom Recovery on your Android phone, or if your bootloader is locked, or your phone is not rooted, by backing up and restoring your Android phone through your computer.
Requirements:
- Install USB Driver for your device on your computer.
- No need to root your device.
- Download Ultimate Backup Tool.
- Enable USB Debugging on your phone.
- Go to Settings >>Security >>Unknown Sources >> check Unknown sources
Steps:
Step 1. Extract the UBT.zip file you downloaded above.
Step 2. Go to Settings >>Developer Options >>Desktop backup password and set a password. Leave the first box blank to set it to default.
Step 3 . Connect your phone to the computer and run the UBT.bat file.
Step 4 . Pay attention below the line “List of devices attached”, you will see a long series of numbers indicating successful connection. If it shows No Device, you need to repeat the process.
Step 5 . Here, you choose options, select number 2 to backup all applications.
Step 6 . A new window will appear. You need to enter the password you previously used.
Step 7 . Choose Back up my data and wait for about 15 minutes for the backup process to complete. Your phone will return to the Home screen.
How to Restore Your Android Phone
Step 1 . Do the same as when you backed up the data using the above steps, but instead of selecting number 2, this time select number 8 to Restore.
Step 2 . The device will prompt you to enter the password on your phone. Enter the password again and select Restore my data.

Step 3 . Wait for your phone to return to the Home screen, then the restore process is successful.
