If you find yourself with a Reborn doll but lacking a bottle, here are some makeshift options. However, please note that these suggestions are for a basic bottle and do not contain formula, so they are not intended for actual feeding.
Steps
DIY Simple Bottle
To make a simple bottle, fill a standard plastic doll feeding bottle with warm water. Then, add a few tablespoons of flour into the bottle.
Combine the ingredients until they form a cohesive mixture. Utilize a butter knife to press the flour into the water, then attach the nipple to the bottle.
Give it a good shake, and voila, you have a basic baby bottle.
Soap Solution
Gather a bottle, white detergent (not transparent), and yellow food coloring.
Choose a doll feeding bottle and remove the cap.
Pour the detergent into the bottle.
Add a single drop of yellow food coloring to the bottle. Shake or stir to evenly distribute it.
Secure the lid tightly.
Use silicone glue or a nipple holder to ensure it remains in position.
Attach the lid. Shake the bottle well.
Simulate feeding your reborn. Do not actually feed the doll with this; just mimic the action.
Helpful Tips
- Ensure to tightly seal your bottle. Liquids might damage your doll, especially if it has a cloth body.
- Take a small square of plastic bag, place the nipple on it, and cut around it with an Exacto knife.
- Avoid leaving the flour in the bottle for extended periods, as it may spoil and become unusable.
Important Warnings
- In the first method, don't let it sit for too long, or the flour will sink to the bottom, leaving only water visible.
