How to Create a Baidu Account
- Step 1: Open Google Chrome and visit the Baidu registration page HERE.
- Step 2: Baidu will open a new registration tab for you. Fill in all the required information.
+ Phone Number: Enter your phone number. Click on +86 and select your country code. Then enter your phone number. If you're not in China, you can use a virtual Chinese phone number to receive the verification code. + Username: Account name. Note: Usernames only support Chinese and English characters, numbers, and underscores, and cannot be purely numerical.
+ Password: Password. Note: Password must include numbers, and be 8 - 14 characters long.
+ Verification Code: Confirmation code. Click on the box next to the arrow (arrow number 1) to receive the confirmation code on your phone. Then, enter the confirmation code into the box next to the arrow (arrow number 2).
