Having a Gmail account on Android is highly important. However, if you're unsure how to create one, follow our guide below.
Step 1: On your device's interface, navigate to Settings, locate the Accounts section, then select Add Account.
Step 2: Choose Google account.
Step 3: Press Create New if you don't have an account yet.
Step 4: Enter your account information:
- Fill in your full name.
- Enter the desired username for your account. Ensure it's unique. Consider adding numbers or special characters.
Step 5: Create a password and recovery information. After filling in, select the icon as shown in the image to proceed.
- Your password must be at least 8 characters long. Consider using both numbers and letters to enhance security.
- Recovery information: Choose a security question and answer to prevent account loss or password forgetting.
Step 6: Tap the selection as shown below to continue.
Step 7: Enter the verification code provided by Google.
You can set up payment information later by selecting Later.
Step 8: Tap the icon in the image to complete the setup.

With the above steps, you have successfully created a Gmail account. You can use this account to send emails, log in to the Google Play Store to download games and apps. In case you forget your screen lock password, you can also use this Gmail account to unlock your device.
