The Password Reset Disk is quite handy when you can't remember your password. Although it doesn't offer as many features as Reset Windows Password, for basic users, it's more than enough. Compared to installing software like Reset Windows Password, the built-in feature is more convenient.

Guide to Creating a Reset Disk on Windows
Step 1: Open the Start Menu and type User Accounts, then click on the search result.
Step 2: In User Accounts, select Create a password reset disk.
Step 3: Click on Next.
Step 4: Choose a USB drive and then click Next.
Step 5: Enter the password of the current account being used.
Step 6: Click Finish to complete the process.
Step 7: Now, on the USB Flash drive, you'll find a file named Userkey. This file is used to recover the password you just created.
