Guide to Setting Up Profile Picture Guard on Facebook
The Profile Picture Guard feature was primarily developed by Facebook for users in India. In Vietnam, users need to install a browser extension to utilize this functionality.

Method 1: Using J2TEAM Security
Currently, the J2TEAM Security extension is still operational. However, Mytour experienced issues activating the Facebook avatar shield feature multiple times. Hopefully, the developers will address this soonest. Meanwhile, consider using alternative extensions to enable the shield for your Facebook avatar.
Method 2: Using the Multiple Tools for Facebook Extension
Users can download the Multiple Tools for Facebook extension from the provided link and follow the instructions below.

Step 1: In the Chrome Web Store interface, click the Add to Chrome button.
Then, a Chrome notification dialog will appear. Click the Add Extension button to confirm.
Step 2: After successful installation, the utility icon will appear on the toolbar, top right of the screen as illustrated below. Now, left-click on the utility icon.
Step 3: In the utility workspace, click on Tools in the left menu. Then, select Profile Picture Guard.
Step 4: The Profile Picture Guard feature screen appears, with 2 main function buttons:
- Shield Up : Enable the feature to create a shield for your Facebook profile picture.
- Shield Down : Disable the feature to create a shield for your Facebook profile picture.
Now, click on the Shield Up button.
Immediately, the Profile Picture Guard feature will be activated. You return to your personal Facebook page and you will see the shield icon has appeared just below your profile picture as illustrated below.
