Making a DIY Shelf
Step 1:
To begin, use a drill to bore four round holes in each wooden panel, drilling two holes at each end. Be skillful in drilling to ensure that all four holes across the panels are aligned straight.
Step 2:
Next, cut the twine into 4 pieces of appropriate length to hang from the ceiling
Step 3:
Afterward, begin threading the twine through the holes in the wooden panels you just drilled. The panels are quite heavy, so you may want someone's assistance to prevent them from falling.
Step 4:
Once you've threaded the twine through the first wooden panel and someone is holding it for you or there's support beneath, use cable ties to securely fasten the twine underneath the panel as shown below. Repeat this for all panels, ensuring even spacing between them.
After securing the panels with cable ties, use a wrench to tighten the screws of the cable ties together. Make sure the wooden panels are securely in place and won't fall. Now, you can simply place your items on this convenient shelf.
