A beautiful image is not only characterized by harmonious colors but also by the text elements inserted into it, which play a significant role. There are many ways to create text effects using the renowned graphics software, Photoshop, but mastering all these techniques is not a simple task. One of the most commonly applied text effects on image files is blurred text on images.
Creating Blurred Text on Images using Photoshop
Step 1: Open Adobe Photoshop and select an image file to insert text.
Create a new image file by clicking File --> New (or use the shortcut Ctrl + N)
Naming the Image File and Setting Height, Width, Background Color -->OK
Step 2: Utilize the Text tool (shortcut T) to create a Text file on the newly created image file with customizable font, size, and text color.
Step 3: Select the newly created Text file, on the toolbar Layer --> New --> Layer via Copy (or use the shortcut Ctrl + J) to duplicate the Text file
To check if you have indeed duplicated the Text file, simply look through the Layer panel on the left side of the screen, now the Layer panel displays Layer Text copy
Step 4: Select Layer Text Copy, then click Filter --> Blur --> Motion Blur
Step 5: Adjust the blur intensity for the Text layer under the Distance section (you can automatically adjust the blur until it achieves the desired text effect).
While adjusting the blur, you can preview the text's blur directly on the original image file, ensuring the optimal level of blurriness.
Click OK to save.
Alright, that's it. Now, press Ctrl + Shift + E to merge these two Text layers with the original image file and save it.

Step 1: On your computer, open Photoshop and press the 'Ctrl+O' key combination. Navigate to the folder and click on the image you want to blur the text.
Step 2: Press the letter T then click on the image to type text.
Step 3: On the right corner, click on the Text Layer you just wrote, such as 'Mytour' in the image.
Step 4: Press the 'Ctrl+J' key combination to create a new layer, then click to hide the old layer as shown.
Alternatively, in the Fill section, click the small arrow, then drag the slider to decrease the ratio.
When adjusting the ratio to 39%, the result will be as follows:
Simple way to blur text in Photoshop
Step 1: Open Photoshop and upload your image.
Step 2: On the Photoshop vertical toolbar, click on 'Marquee Tool' (or press the shortcut key M).
Step 3: Use the mouse to drag around the area you want to blur. In the image, Mytour wants to blur the text 'Mytour'.
Step 4: On the horizontal toolbar, click on 'Filter', select 'Blur', then choose 'Box Blur' as shown below.
Step 5: The Box Blur dialog box will open. You can drag the slider from right to left to adjust the blur intensity or enter values in the adjacent box. Once done, click 'Ok'.
