Guide to Creating Bookmarks in Word
For Word 2019
Step 1: Open any document in Word, place the mouse cursor or highlight the position of the text where you want to create a Bookmark.
Step 2: Click on the Insert tab on the menu bar at the top of the screen and select Bookmark

To create additional Bookmarks, you can perform the same steps.
Step 4: To view the marked Bookmarks, you can also select Insert and choose Bookmark. In the Bookmark window, you click on the Bookmark you want, then select Go to.
For Word 2003
Step 1: To create a Bookmark (text mark), first, place the mouse cursor or highlight the line you want to link, then go to the Insert menu and select Bookmark… from the list that appears. The bookmark window appears, enter the content name of the bookmark into the Bookmark name field.
Once you've entered the name, click the Add button to save the bookmark you just created. Continue creating other bookmarks as you wish.
Step 2: When you want to review the previously marked text, just remember the name, then go back to the Bookmark window, select the bookmark name you want to go to, and press Go to. Immediately, the mouse cursor will jump to the position of the bookmark you just selected.
For Word 2007
Step 1: Similarly to Word 2003, to mark a line of text, place the mouse cursor at the position where you want to create a bookmark, then go to the Insert tab, choose the Bookmark icon in the Links group.
The bookmark dialog appears, name your bookmark then press Add to save.
If you select (highlight) text and then mark it, that text will be enclosed in parentheses after marking.
Step 2: To access the desired Bookmark, go to Insert choose Bookmark as when creating it, then select the name you want to move the mouse pointer to and press Go to. You can also press the shortcut Ctrl + G to open the Go to dialog.
In the Go to what section, choose Bookmark, then select the bookmark name you want to view and press Go to.
To delete a bookmark, open the bookmark window then select and press Delete.
