Step 1: Open PowerPoint and select 'Design'.
Choose a background style for PowerPoint.
Next, click in the middle of the interface and type the topic name, then perform resizing, coloring, etc. for the text.
To add effects, click 'Animations' and then select a suitable effect right below.
Step 2: Open a new slide, you click 'New Slide'.
You can also compose an introduction or anything else on the Slide and edit as in step 1.
Once done, press 'Insert' then select 'Table' and choose the number of cells you want to create.
Now, adjust the square cells to have appropriate sizes.
Then fill the background color, border lines at the top of the interface.
Step 3: Input answers into those squares. You can customize font, size, alignment to make it eye-catching.
Step 4: Press the shortcut key 'Ctrl + D' to duplicate it, then delete all text inside to create a sequence of empty squares as shown. This sequence is used to cover the answers.
Select the empty square, then go to 'Animations' and choose 'All Animations' to create a disappearing effect. Then select 'Trigger' and choose 'On click of' meaning click on it, it disappears automatically. After that, stack it on the row of squares with text to see the result.
Step 5: To save time, highlight to select the squares you want to create, then press 'Ctrl + D' to duplicate. Press Ctrl + D as many questions as you have.
If the answers are fewer than the number of squares, highlight the squares you want to delete, then right-click and choose Delete row to remove the square. Also, remember to do the same with the squares without answers for the remaining questions.
Step 6: Remember to highlight the correct answer and arrange them appropriately.
Step 7: Press 'Insert' then Shapes to choose the shape you prefer.
Step 8: Next, click where you want to place it as shown below and adjust the size, background color accordingly.
After adjusting, right-click and select 'Add Text' to appropriately number them.
Then, press Shift and drag the mouse to create similar number boxes straight across the crossword rows.
To link a specific number to a question, right-click on that number and choose Hyperlink.
Then, choose the appropriate Hyperlink position within the current PowerPoint and select the corresponding question slide below. Finally, click 'Ok'.
Remember to save your PowerPoint now.
