If you often have to send emails to a group of people or certain individuals in your contact list, creating groups or group emails will greatly enhance the convenience of sending and receiving emails in Gmail.
Here we will guide you on how to create groups in Gmail and set up group emails in Gmail after signing up for Gmail.
1. Creating Groups in Gmail, Setting up Group Email in Gmail
Step 1: Sign in to Gmail on your web browser, then proceed to sign in to your Gmail Contacts at the link Here.
Step 2: In the Contacts window, scroll down and locate the Labels section, click on Create label.
Step 3: The Create label toolbox appears, here you enter the name of the group, then press Save.
Step 1: After creating the new label, click on the Contacts section on the left-hand side of the screen. Check the contacts you want to add to the group.
Step 2: Click on the Label Management button on the top toolbar and select the newly created label.
Step 3: Select Apply to confirm. Now, the contacts and email accounts you marked are grouped under a single Label for management purposes.
Step 1: Go to the Settings menu and choose Manage Members.
Step 1: In the Gmail Contacts screen, select Group Name from the left-hand menu.
Step 2: Locate the contact you wish to edit and click on the three-dot icon.
Step 3: Uncheck the Tick to remove labeling, removing the contact from the group.
Step 1: Navigate to the Contact Information section and select Edit.
To edit contact information for better management, follow these steps:
Step 1: In the Contacts or Groups section, click the pencil icon next to the contact you want to edit.
Step 2: In the contact editing section, feel free to change Last Name, First Name, Job Title, Company,... then click Save.
Step 1: Send an Email to a Group using Gmail
Users can choose Send email to Gmail Contacts Group and Send group email in Gmail interface.
Method 1: Sending Group Emails from Gmail Contacts
Step 1: Select the group you want to email from the left menu list.
Step 2: Check the boxes next to the contacts, then click on the envelope icon in the toolbar.
Step 3: A composing window appears, now enter the Email content and click Send.
Method 2: Sending group emails within the Gmail interface
Step 1: In the Gmail interface, click on the Compose button as if writing a new email.
Step 2: In the To field, when you enter the Group, Label names, the system will automatically display suggestions, you just need to select.
Step 3: Contacts within the group will be added to the To field. Now just compose and send the email as usual.
