Guide to Creating and Shuffling Multiple-Choice Test Papers with McMIX
Step 1: Download and install the latest version of the software: Download McMIX
Step 2: After completing the installation, launch the software with the interface as shown below.
The program window integrates key features:
- Exam Section
+ Choose Add Exam
+ Edit Exam
- Exam Subjects:
+ Add Exam Subject
+ Edit Exam Subject
- Create/Print Exam Papers
- To Add an Exam Section, click on Add under the Exam Section in the left column. In the window that appears, enter the exam code, exam name, notes (if any), then press Save to save.
- To edit an Exam Section, select the Exam Section to be edited and click on Edit under the Exam Section in the left column. In the window that appears, you can change the Exam Section name and press Save to save the settings.
- To add a subject, select the exam you want to add to and click on Add in the right column of the subject section. In the window that appears, fill in all the information: Standard Code, Standard Name, Number of Questions. Finally, press Save to save the settings.
Step 3: To create multiple-choice test papers, click on the subject you want to create (here, for example, Mytour has just created the subject MATHEMATICS) and click Create/Print Exam Papers
- A new window appears, click on Add to add multiple-choice questions for the subject.
- A new interface allows you to create multiple-choice questions in the Word text editor. Enter the question and answer choices, select the correct answer. Finally, press Save to save the question. Press Exit after creating the questions to return to the main interface.
Step 4: Here you can perform actions like Edit Question, Edit Answers, ... if you find any discrepancies. Choose to shuffle the questions to create multiple-choice test papers. Finally, execute commands like Print Original Exam, Print Standard Exam, ... to print standardized multiple-choice test papers for upcoming exams
