How to create transparent text in Photoshop
Step 1: First, you open the image file you want to create transparent text on using Photoshop software.
Step 2: You click to select the rectangle icon on the toolbar to create a shape. The shortcut is U.
Step 3: Next, press Ctrl+Shift+N to create a new layer. Then, click on the T icon on the toolbar (shortcut T in Photoshop) and type the text you want to make transparent.
Step 4: Next, use the Move tool (shortcut v) to move the text into the previously created shape.
Step 5: Right-click on the text layer and select Blending Options, or double-click on the layer to display the options. In the Fill Opacity section, drag down to 0%. In the Knockout section, select Shallow. Once done, press OK.
Step 6: You merge the two shape layers with the text layer by pressing Ctrl + G shortcut.
Step 7: Returning to the main screen, you will see the created text appearing transparently against the background image.
