Guide to Creating Vertical and Horizontal Pages in Word
1. Creating Vertical and Horizontal Pages in Word 2016, 2013.
Suppose we have a Word document with 3 pages, and on the second page, you want to print horizontally. What do you do?
Step 1: First, click the last character on the last line of page 1 and then select layout.
Step 2: Here, click on Break and then choose Next page to proceed with creating sections for each page.
Repeat the same process for the 2nd page to create a separate section.
And finally, for the 3rd Page, similarly, but note that you don't have to do all pages, only the pages you want to create both vertical and horizontal page layout in Word. The following instructions only clarify the effectiveness of creating sections.
Step 3: After completion, we proceed by clicking on Page Setup on the page you want to print horizontally to change the mode of creating vertical and horizontal page layout in Word.

2. Creating both vertical and horizontal page layout in Word 2010, 2007.
Similarly to how it's done in Word 2016, 2013 because these versions have quite similar interfaces, so in the sections below, we'll provide guidance.
Step 1: To create both vertical and horizontal page layout in Word 2010, 2007, first, we go to Page Layout select Break >Nextpage at the end of each page.
Step 2: After selecting, click on the page where you want to switch to horizontal, then choose Page Setup.
Step 3: Within this, you proceed to select Landscape and below choose This section as instructed in the above section.
Finally, proceed to create both vertical and horizontal page layout in Word 2010, 2007 as usual.
3. Creating both vertical and horizontal page layout in Word 2003.
Step 1: The process of creating both vertical and horizontal page layout in Word 2003 is similar, but in the Word 2003 interface, there's a slight change where you have to click on the Insert section to see the Break tool.
Step 2: Next, the Break dialogue will appear, and here you select Next page.
Step 3: Finally, we go to File > select Page Setup.
In this, choose Landscape then continue to select This section and you're done, the process of creating both vertical and horizontal page layout in Word 2003 is completed, and now you proceed to print as usual.
