Creating Videos from Images with SnagIt
Step 1: In the software workspace, click on the Create option and select Video from Images.
Step 2: Choose the images to use in the video. Hold down Control + Click to select multiple images at once from the tray containing recent screen captures.
After selecting the images, right-click and choose Create Video from Images
When instructing someone via image video, utilize tools in the Quick Styles section to draw attention to specific elements of the image.
After drawing annotations, select that annotation button to move, resize, or delete the annotation.
Step 5: Transition from this image to the next image.
Use the arrow keys on the recording toolbar to switch to the next image or go back to the previous image.
Alternatively, click on any image in the tray to navigate to that image.
Step 6: Pause or stop recording.
If you need a break, you can pause the recording and continue when ready. Once finished, click on the Finish Record button.
Step 7: Perform video editing tasks.
Snagit places new videos under the Recent Captures tray, where you can view videos and perform simple edits using the Playhead tool.
Step 8: Share your video.
After completing the recording and optimizing the video, you have various options to export the video. For example, export as a .mp4 file or share the video on websites (Screencast.com, YouTube), cloud storage services (OneDrive, Dropbox, Box...). You can even open it in Camtasia software for further customization.
Here is a guide on creating videos from images using SnagIt. Additionally, for many SnagIt or older version Camtasia users, sticking to older versions may be more optimal than updating to newer versions as previous versions often have lower system requirements. If you own a computer with modest specifications, downloading an older version of SnagIt can also be an optimal solution.
