* Admission cutoff score for undergraduate programs in 2020:
Note: Candidates should contact the Admission Board of Police units and localities where they applied to complete enrollment procedures as follows:
- Documents required: Original copy of High School Graduation Exam results certificate for the year 2020.
- Deadline: Before 5:00 PM on October 8th, 2020.
- Location: Police units and localities where they applied.
- The Police Academy will receive the original copy of the National High School Graduation Exam results certificate from the Admission Boards, from October 9th to before 5:00 PM on October 10th, 2020.
* Threshold Score Ensuring Input Quality
- The threshold score ensuring input quality is the total score of the three subjects in the admission exam, the regional priority score, and the priority score for target groups according to the current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- For admission quotas in training programs for Police professional groups in provinces in the North and South (excluding the Southeast and Southwest regions), the threshold score ensuring input quality is from 17.75 points onwards, where each subject in the admission exam must score 5.0 points or higher on a scale of 10.

- Đối với chỉ tiêu tuyển sinh các tỉnh phía Bắc và phía Nam (trừ địa bàn Đông Nam Bộ và Tây Nam Bộ) gửi đào tạo đại học ngành Y, ngưỡng đảm bảo chất lượng đầu vào từ 22.0 điểm trở lên, trong đó mỗi môn thuộc tổ hợp xét tuyển phải đạt từ 5.0 điểm trở lên theo thang điểm 10.

2. Admission Criteria for Police Academy in 2019
In 2019, the Ministry of Public Security allocated 1,500 admission quotas to public security schools, including 1,200 university quotas and 300 college quotas. For the university program, 1,200 quotas were distributed among the following academies/schools: People's Police Academy 375 quotas; People's Police Academy 625 quotas; and Fire Fighting University 150 quotas.
Each subject score in the admission combination must be 5.0 points or higher.

Admission Criteria for Police Academy in 2018

Right after the Police Academy announces the 2017 entrance exam cutoff scores, all cutoff scores for each field code will be updated here promptly. When comparing exam scores, candidates need to pay attention to matching field codes, field names, and exam subject combinations for the most accurate cutoff score results. It's important to note that the exam scores below are for candidates in Area 3.
According to the 2016 Police Academy admission cutoff scores, northern regions always have higher cutoff scores than southern regions, and fields for females also have higher cutoff scores compared to fields for males. The lowest cutoff score for the school is 23 points for law (male, northern region) with exam combination D01, and the highest is law (female, northern region) with exam combination A00 with 28.5 points. After the announcement of results, successful candidates will receive admission notices and enrollment schedules sent directly to their homes.
For candidates with High School Graduation Exam scores lower by only about 16 points, they can consider applying to Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry. The admission cutoff score for Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry in 2016 for all undergraduate programs was 15 points. Besides the cutoff score for Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry, admission results also consider candidates' academic records.
