- Cover: Aid to teammates
- Hold: Maintain position
- Rush: Advance forcefully, attack aggressively
- Push: Progress continuously
- Hold site: Maintain control of the site
- Utility: Refers to general grenades
- Full nade: Use grenades
- Molly: Incendiary bomb
- Nade: Grenade
- Split: Spread out for an attack
- Kobe: Eliminate opponents with a grenade
- Save: Stay safe, preserve oneself
- Wallbang: Shoot through walls
- Boost: Assist players in reaching higher positions
- Camp: Defend a position, hold a gate, secure a location

- Half-buy: Buy with half the available money

- Noob: Inexperienced or poor player

- Afk: Indicates a player not moving, standing still, no motion....

- GG: Good Game (a good match)
- GGWP: Good game well-played (a very good match, you played very well)
- Flank: Attack from behind, engage in a surprise attack
- Ace: One player eliminates the entire enemy team
- Timing: Properly time actions
- Sneak: Move quietly, approach stealthily
- Top frag: Top of the scoreboard, most kills
- Drop a x bomb: Throw a bomb and kill x number of people
- Carry: Carry the team, take on the majority of the responsibility
- Ez, ezpz: Too easy
- Jumpshot: Jump and shoot, often referring to killing someone by jumping and shooting
- No scope: Shoot without aiming
