Currently, SYM offers two variants of the Passing 50, each with its corresponding price tag:
The Passing 50 in standard colors comes in at $23.7 million VND.
Opting for the matte version? It's priced at $24.2 million VND.
Currently, at SYM's authorized dealerships in Vietnam, the Passing 50 is sold at the manufacturer's suggested retail price. Adding in taxes, registration fees, etc., the on-road price for the Passing 50 lands around $27 million VND.
While this price tag is reasonable and fits many budgets, it's not exactly cheap, considering there are other scooters on the market starting from as low as $16-17 million VND.
2. How many color options does the SYM Passing 50 offer?
Currently, the Passing 50 offers three color choices for riders: a standard gray-black, and two matte options, gray-black and black. For more details, refer to the images below (note: colors may vary slightly in reality).

With overall dimensions of 1,880-690-1,080mm, a seat height of 660mm, and a weight of just 97kg, the Passing 50 is suitable for riders of modest stature, particularly high school students and college-goers.
– Engine Specifications
As mentioned earlier, the Passing 50 belongs to the 'no license required' category, as riders need only be 16 years or older due to its 49.5cc engine displacement. This engine generates a maximum power of 2.45kW at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 3.2 Nm at 6500 rpm. With this power, the scooter is quite agile for city commuting as a daily means of transportation.
However, it has a fuel consumption rate of 2.0 liters/100km – equivalent to 125cc scooters on the market today. Nonetheless, it's not overly fuel-thirsty, providing peace of mind for users.
