Android is one of the two most popular operating systems today. In the previous section, we showed you how to change the network logo on Android using Super Status Bar; now, how do you change the Android Boot Logo?
GUIDE TO CHANGING ANDROID BOOT LOGO
It's evident that changing the Android boot logo is more complex than changing the logos of network providers like Viettel, Mobi, or Vina to your own.
Note: You need to root your Android device before proceeding. If you don't know how to root, you can refer to the rooting guide on Mytour.vn.
1. Download ES File Explorer
- Download ES File Explorer: ES File Explorer
2. Activate Root Access
After installing the ES File Explorer app, open the Menu and select Root Explorer (as shown below) to activate Root access.

3. Replace Android Images/Logos
- In the Device menu at the top, navigate to the System folder, press and hold the folder for a while, then tap on More and select Properties.
- Here, you need to grant read, write, and execute permissions to the device in the Permission section, then navigate to System and find Media or Multimedia, select the bootanimation.zip folder. Back up the bootanimation.zip file (to avoid errors during execution).
- Choose the image you want to replace the original Boot Logo with, then copy it to your bootanimation.zip file (do not copy to the backup file).
Once done, restart your device and experience the changes. Besides ES File Explorer, you can also use Root Explorer for this task. Wishing you all successful implementation!
