Cutting MP3s and Crafting Ringtones with mp3DirectCut
Download and install the latest version of mp3DirectCut
Step 1: Open mp3DirectCut, choose an audio file you want to cut by clicking File --> Open (or use the shortcut Ctrl + O).
Step 2: Once the audio file is opened in mp3DirectCut, it will be displayed as a sound wave for easy manipulation. To rewind the song, simply hold the mouse and drag the slider back to the beginning of the track.
Use the Play function to run the audio file. During playback, both the time and volume of the audio file are simultaneously displayed.
Step 3: There are two methods for cutting the music.
Option 1: Simply hold and move the mouse to highlight the section of music you want to delete. Press delete to remove these sections and keep the desired music segment. In this audio file, Mytour will attempt to remove the section in front of the song, and the section to be removed will be highlighted in green.
Option 2: Use the Set Begin and Set End functions (the third and fourth functions in the Edit section) to set the start and end times for the music section.
Select the beginning, press Delete, and continue until only the desired music segment remains.
To save the edited music segment, choose the Save function or use the shortcut Ctrl+W.
