I've been following Mytour for a while but didn't know what to write. Now that I've done a biking trip, I thought it would be fun to share it with you for entertainment.TRAINING
- I started cycling in September 2022, with a frequency of 2 times per week, 8~12km each time.
- In October, I also had a few longer rides, 24km, 76km, 88km.
- At the end of October, I did a 2-day trip from Sài Gòn to Bình Dương, covering 210km.
- After that, I changed my cycling frequency to 2 times per week, 20~30km each time until this trip to Vũng Tàu.
GEAR
- A lightweight bike with adjustable gearing. This is crucial because long-distance riders encounter various terrains like gravel, sand, hills, high bridges, etc. Having only one gear can make cycling very tiring.
- A hand pump, spare inner tubes, and a portable tire repair kit. This is also crucial. My bike is a road bike with small wheels, so it's not suitable for rough terrain. I'm afraid of encountering problems in remote areas, so it's best to bring a repair kit.
- Sony ZV1 camera + chest harness.
JOURNEY
- 3 days 2 nights - 300km.
- Tây Ninh > Sài Gòn > Cần Giờ > Vũng Tàu & back via the old route.
- Initially, I planned to return via the national highway through Long Thành, but I stopped due to foot pain.
