Every time Da Lat is mentioned, each of us holds a special affection for this place. People love everything about this land: the weather, the scenery, and even the cuisine. Let's explore what Da Lat has to offer at the end of the year.
Da Lat is truly beautiful at the end of the year
The season of roses
Roses are a unique specialty in Da Lat. During the rose season, you'll see along the streets, in big markets, small markets, everywhere, displays of ripe roses for sale. There are dried roses, candied roses, dried rose jam, all kinds of roses.

You can visit the rose gardens near Dinh III Bao Dai located on Trieu Viet Vuong Street, Ward 2, Da Lat City, or drive about 5 km southeast to Mimosa Pass to take souvenir photos amidst lush rose gardens, enjoy them on the spot, and buy them as gifts for loved ones.

Note that most rose gardens do not sell entrance tickets, so before entering, you must ask for permission from the garden owner and especially be mindful to preserve and protect the rose garden by not picking fruit or breaking branches. After taking photos, you can buy roses at the garden as gifts for loved ones after the trip.

Wild sunflower season
Da Lat is always beautiful in any season, but from October to December, the mountain town becomes even more romantic thanks to the brilliant yellow of wild sunflowers. Though not as radiant as sunflowers, when in full bloom, wild sunflowers cover the landscape, creating a golden carpet stretching across the roads into the city.

Wild sunflowers are a wildflower species, common in the Central Highlands and some provinces in the North. However, when it comes to wild sunflower season, people often mention Da Lat, because only here can one truly feel the vibrant yellow color spreading everywhere. The ideal time to admire the flowers during the day is around 9-10 am when the sun is just rising. The gentle sunlight makes the golden hue of each petal even sweeter and more vibrant.

Often lost in the enchanting yellow of wild sunflowers, you should choose a motorbike as your companion to immerse yourself in the winding roads, hillsides, or small alleys where wild sunflowers compete in beauty and fragrance.
Cherry blossom season
Every year, as winter turns to spring, Da Lat welcomes the beautiful and romantic cherry blossom season. This is one of the seasons in Da Lat that many tourists eagerly anticipate. Unlike the cherry blossoms of Japan or Korea, the flowers in our country resemble plum blossoms, with five-petaled flowers similar to apricot blossoms, hence they are called cherry blossoms.

A special feature of cherry blossoms is that they often bloom in clusters and are very fragrant. The scent is not too strong, so even when in full bloom, they do not cause discomfort along the streets. However, cherry blossoms bloom very quickly and uniformly but also fade quickly. The blooming season only lasts for a few weeks, from the budding of the flowers to their wilting, only about 10 days, so tourists must make the most of their time to fully admire this flower.

Some streets with many cherry blossoms include: Tran Hung Dao Street, areas around Xuan Huong Lake, Tuyen Lam Lake, Da Quy Hill...
Jacaranda season
One of the late-year flower seasons in Da Lat is the jacaranda season. When the season arrives, the whole city is filled with the white color of jacaranda flowers. Walking around each street, admiring the blooming branches against the sky, you can truly feel the beauty of this flower.

You can admire the flowers on streets such as: Tran Phu - Con Ga Church - Palace 2, Quang Trung - Da Lat Station - Phan Chu Trinh Intersection, Phu Dong Thien Vuong... Especially Tran Phu Street, just a stretch of about 1.5 km but with hundreds of jacaranda trees blooming in clusters, dyeing the area white.
