When is the Best Time to Visit Da Lat?
Located in a region influenced by tropical climate with seasonal winds varying by altitude, Da Lat enjoys a cool climate year-round with temperatures typically ranging from 18-25ºC, allowing visitors to travel to Da Lat at any time. You can plan your trip based on the blooming season of flowers and your favorite fruits to enjoy during your visit.
Da Lat experiences two seasons: the rainy season lasts from May to November and the dry season from December to April of the following year. It's best to visit during the dry season for easier travel and sightseeing.
Transportation: Getting Around While Traveling in Da Lat
By Plane: From Hanoi, Da Nang, or Ho Chi Minh City, you can fly to Lien Khuong Airport (Da Lat) operated by various airlines such as Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet,... You can book flight tickets here.
Note: From Lien Khuong Airport, you can take the airport bus or a taxi to the city center. The airport bus runs continuously throughout the day, with the final stop in Da Lat city at Le Thi Hong Gam Street, near Da Lat Market. You should ask the drivers for directions and provide the address of your hotel to get off at the nearest stop.
Coaches: Phuong Trang and Thanh Buoi buses (Thanh Buoi buses are temporarily suspended on the Saigon - Da Lat route; when there are new updates, Mytour will notify you) with ticket prices ranging from 280,000 VND to 440,000 VND per ticket/one-way for sleeper buses. Cau Dat Tea Hill

From the city center, simply drive straight along Tran Hung Dao – Hung Vuong Street and follow the signs to Trai Mat. From there, ask any local along the road for directions to Xuan Truong Village. Situated at an altitude of over 1,650m above sea level, the climate at Cau Dat Tea Hill is cool and pleasant all year round. Elephant Waterfall - Linh An Pagoda
Located in Nam Ban town, Lam Ha district, 25km southwest of Da Lat city. Elephant Waterfall, also known as Linh An Pagoda Waterfall, is one of the beautiful waterfalls in the Central Highlands with a height of over 30m and a width of about 15m. Behind the gushing waterfall are deep and mysterious caves like Bat Cave, Wind Cave, etc. Linh An Pagoda is located within the scenic area of Elephant Waterfall. The temple grounds have many large Buddha statues intricately carved.
Pongour Waterfall
Pongour Waterfall, also known as the Seven-floor waterfall, is located in Duc Trong district, 50km from Da Lat. The waterfall is 40m high, spans 7 floors, and is nearly 100m wide. Pongour is the only waterfall in Lam Dong province that hosts the annual Tay Nguyen ethnic festival on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month.
Dambri Waterfall
Located approximately 100km downhill from Da Lat, or 200km up from Ho Chi Minh City via National Highway 20, Dambri Waterfall (part of Dambri Eco-tourism Area) is about 18km northeast of Bao Loc city. It is the tallest waterfall in Lam Dong province, with a height of over 40m, forming two majestic cascades.
Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda
Located about 21km south of Bao Loc city, Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda sits atop Hill 45, Village 4, Loc Thanh, Bao Lam, Lam Dong – renowned as a heavenly landscape with its 'sky gates', where you can gaze upon a vast expanse of space and immerse yourself in the mountains and sky.
To reach Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda, depart from Bao Loc city and follow Tran Phu street. At Dai Binh intersection, turn right onto Loc Thanh commune road (National Route 55). Pass by Loc Thanh market until you reach Da Trang bridge. Cross the bridge, continue straight, then at the third intersection, turn right and you'll see Niet Ban Pagoda. Proceed straight to the next intersection, then turn right. Keep going straight, then turn left towards the cultural village (Village 4 - Loc Thanh commune). After passing the cultural village for about 2km (look for a small alley on your left), turn left uphill, then follow the signs (Quan Chieu Duong) to Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda.
