The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Đà Nẵng has just revealed the 50 entries advancing to the final round of the tourism logo and slogan design competition. These entries were chosen from a total of 492 valid submissions by 289 creators from 38 provinces nationwide.

This competition, initiated by Đà Nẵng's tourism sector, has been ongoing for the past 4 months, capturing the attention of the public and attracting widespread interest from tourists. Despite receiving hundreds of submissions, only 492 were deemed valid. The competition's judging panel has carefully selected the top 50 design ideas.
As per the schedule, the final round is set to take place on December 7, 2013, with the award ceremony concluding on January 1, 2014.
This marks the first time Đà Nẵng has organized a dedicated logo and slogan design competition for its tourism sector, aiming to establish a distinctive tourism brand identity and initiate a fresh approach to local tourism development, fostering stronger connections with the tourism community and local residents.
This initiative promises to reshape perceptions of tourism products in the area, attracting more visitors to Đà Nẵng. Local tourism authorities express such anticipation.
Out of 492 valid submissions, Đà Nẵng contributed 129 entries, while Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi submitted 118 and 67 entries, respectively. Additionally, there were 6 entries from international authors.
Alongside unveiling the top 50 entries, Đà Nẵng has initiated an online voting competition for the 'Most Loved Logo,' featuring 100 logos with aesthetic, unique, and creative qualities. These logos are currently displayed on the fanpage www.facebook.com/logodulichdanang.
This supplementary competition will run from November 16 to December 25, offering a cash prize of 2 million VND, a voucher for a one-night stay at a 4-star hotel, and a pair of cable car tickets to Bà Nà.
