Ba Na Hills Cable Car Service Company announces the groundbreaking for the first cable car line in Vietnam within the Ba Na Hills tourist area.
The new cable car route, named Ba Na Tourism – Bynight, is set to become the first operational cable car in Vietnam upon its launch. This cable car will enhance the tourism offerings at Ba Na Hills.

The cable car, with a total length of 380m, moves at an average speed of 5m/s, and each cabin can accommodate 80 passengers. The operational capacity is 1,600 passengers per hour. The entire cable car technology is manufactured by Garaventa (Switzerland).
In addition to the inauguration of the Thac Toc Tien – Indochine cable car route, achieving four world records, this unique cable car line in Vietnam will provide tourists with distinctive and novel experiences as they ascend to the summit of Ba Na Hills.
The cable car route is expected to be completed and operational for visitors to Da Nang from March 2014.
