Da Nang will allocate over 408 billion dong to support all tuition fees for kindergarten children, students according to the public school tuition fee schedule for the academic year 2023-2024.
Da Nang exempts tuition fees from kindergarten to grade 12
The Da Nang People's Council on July 19 passed a resolution to support tuition fees for kindergarten children, students of public and non-public schools, and students of regular education centers.
Accordingly, the city will support 100% of public school tuition fees for kindergarten children, students (grades 1-12) for 9 months of the upcoming academic year. Students currently receiving tuition fee reductions under other policies will be compensated to reach 100% of the public school tuition fee.

With current tuition fees ranging from 50,000 to 300,000 dong per month, depending on the area, Da Nang is projected to allocate 316 billion dong for public school students; 92 billion dong for non-public school students. Kindergarten children and students of schools with foreign investment are not eligible for tuition fee exemptions.

This marks the third consecutive year Da Nang has implemented this policy. Twice before, the city government waived tuition fees due to the difficult lives of people affected by Covid-19.
