The Da Nang Love Bridge is a charming spot that attracts tourists, especially romantic couples, who come here as a testament to eternal love. With a modern European-style design, it serves as an ideal stop at any time of the day.
Spanning across the Han River, the Da Nang Love Bridge gracefully curves with a length of 68m. It was inaugurated in the middle of 2015, drawing a large number of visitors to attend the ceremony. Within just a few hours, 200 love locks were quickly distributed for free.
This bridge stands between the Dragon Bridge and the Han River Bridge, facing towards the center of the river. From here, you can admire the surrounding scenery and the other side of the city center. Visiting the Love Bridge in Da Nang at night is ideal because the lanterns along the bridge have started to light up, reflecting sparkling red lights onto the gently rippling river, creating an extremely romantic scene.
Inspired by famous bridges worldwide such as Pont des Arts (France), Hohenzollern (Germany), Tretriakovsky (Russia), or Milvio (Italy), the Love Bridge differs in design but shares the same significance. Couples in love come here to hang a padlock engraved with their names, symbolizing that their love will forever remain strong, loyal, and inseparable.

Visitors here can either bring their own locks or purchase them from nearby vendors. These locks are often shaped like hearts – the quintessential symbol of romance. Once securely hung on the bridge, the keys are typically discarded or hidden away, ensuring they cannot be retrieved.
