Being the first golf course in Vietnam, Dalat Palace Golf Course has witnessed numerous historical ups and downs. Its 18 holes represent a creative achievement spanning generations. In the 1920s, this golf course was a favorite spot for King Bao Dai – the last emperor of Vietnam to frequently play golf. Throughout its history since opening, this golf course has opened and closed several times depending on the country's political circumstances. In 1994, millions of USD were invested in renovating and restoring its operations, showcasing the historical value and position of Dalat Palace Golf Course as a premier golf course in Vietnam and the Asia-Pacific region.

With a length of 7009 yards and 72 standard clubs for 18 holes, Dalat Palace Golf Course meets the standards to host 18-hole golf championships. The entire course, from the practice area, driving range, tee-off points, fairways to greens, is covered with Bent grass. The golf course is skillfully designed amidst hills, interspersed with ancient pine trees of Dalat, providing golfers with natural experiences and challenges.

With its vintage design, professional golfing atmosphere, and attentive staff service, Dalat Palace Golf Course has consistently been voted the best golf course or the most scenic golf course in Vietnam from 2004 to 2015. In 2006, this golf course was also among the top 10 golf courses in Asia.
