The sweet soup shop, opened by Mrs. Lien (45 years old), has been in business for 10 years in Danang. Currently, there are 3 shops named after her, managed by family members. The address, crowded with customers every evening, is in a small house on Hoang Dieu street, which opened just 4 years ago.
Mrs. Lien's daughter, Ms. Hoang Anh, said that around 8 pm, there are no more seats in the shop. “We have to hire more staff to serve the customers on time,” Ms. Hoang Anh said.
Every day, the cooking stages are prepared early to open at 7:30 am. The recipe is managed by Mrs. Lien. According to many customers, the main highlight that makes the durian sweet soup here attractive is the essence.
“The essence is rich and fragrant. The sweet soup is not too sweet. After finishing a bowl, I still feel like eating more without feeling bored,” a diner commented.
Not only famous in Danang, many other places know about the delicious flavor and have ordered the dish for sale. “We marinate the sweet soup in ice and transport it to Hanoi,” Ms. Hoang Anh said.
The shop owner said that if customers from other provinces and cities order in large quantities, the shop is also ready to supply.
In addition to durian sweet soup, the shop also has tofu in ice, soy milk tofu, flan, coconut jelly… to serve customers on the spot. Those who cannot eat durian can request a different dish from the seller.
