1. Deactivate, disable predictive text on Oppo F5, Oppo F3

Step 1: On your Oppo F5 or Oppo F3, go to Settings -> Scroll down and select Additional Settings -> Tap on Keyboard & Input Methods.

Step 2: In the Keyboard & Input Methods section, select TouchPal for OPPO, then press on Smart Input.

Step 3: Scroll down to find two options: Auto-correction and Combined Word Prediction. Disable these functions by clicking on the green box to uncheck it.

2. Disable predictive text on Oppo F9

Step 1: On the main interface of your Oppo F9, go to Settings -> Tap on Additional Settings -> Select Keyboard & Input Methods.

Step 2: Here, locate the Available Keyboards section and choose Gboard -> Press Edit Text.

Step 3: Disable the Show Predictive Strip feature by dragging the green circle to the left. Once done, you have successfully disabled predictive text on Oppo F9.

How to turn off predictive text on the old Oppo interface

Step 1: Access the Settings section.

Step 2: Next, choose the General category and scroll down to select Language & Input Methods.

Step 3: Tap the gear icon next to Swype for Oppo.

Step 4: Then select Settings.
