The colorful facets of life contribute to decorating each of our lives, with both good and bad, happiness and unhappiness, joy and sorrow. Storms and hardships in life are experiences no one desires, yet few can avoid, and sometimes these difficulties or challenges either make us falter or help us become better, depending on each person's approach. Hence, the optimistic spirit holds great significance.
'Lạc' means happiness, joy, excitement, 'quan' means perspective. Optimism is always looking towards the bright side, finding rays of hope amidst pain, and approaching everything positively. Optimism - a positive attitude in life that everyone needs. It's an extremely effective 'medicine' in life. Life contains countless difficulties and challenges that often make people apprehensive and fearful. However, optimism helps us find enthusiasm and motivation to try harder. We find smiles amidst tears, peace amidst pain. Optimism helps us succeed more each day, making us love life and cherish it even more. Living optimistically helps us affirm ourselves and help others overcome hardships. An optimistic spirit contributes significantly to building a better, more civilized life, spreading its positive energy to everyone around.
In literature, we encounter characters who, despite difficulties and adversities, rise above, shining with noble qualities. In difficult times, they still believe in the future. The fisherman's wife in 'The Boat Outside the Ocean' by Nguyen Minh Chau, despite being cruelly beaten, always stands up for her husband, believing in the happiness of the family and the children. The mother and son in 'The Wife Picker' by Kim Lan, despite poverty and hardship, wholeheartedly support the revolution, looking forward to the days of warmth and fullness among the people who break the Japanese granaries. The soldiers in the midst of battle, enduring countless hardships amidst bullets and bombs, still smile with pride, believing in 'The Poem about the Non-Glass Truck Squad' by Pham Tien Duat or the image of the young volunteer girls bombarding dangerous places who always maintain their zest for life, enthusiasm, and courage in 'The Distant Stars' by Le Minh Khue. With faith, extraordinary perseverance, living optimistically in difficulties, they become radiant and beautiful in every page of prose, every line of poetry by poets.
Entering life, that optimistic spirit is encountered everywhere, anytime. Optimistic people never let themselves suffer or feel discouraged. In everything, they always know how to reconcile. They are the ones who build dreams with belief, with a perfect spirit that does not easily accept failure, lamenting before difficulties. Ho Chi Minh is a great example of that spirit. In the scenes of imprisonment, shackles of the enemy, in loneliness on foreign soil, Uncle Ho still turns to the Vietnamese people, writing steel verses, in prison, Uncle Ho still casually admires the moon, passionately admiring the beauty of nature, the country. Teacher Nguyen Ngoc Ky, unfortunate since childhood with both arms paralyzed, but with faith and dreams of going to school, the teacher did not hesitate to practice, write with his feet. Now the teacher is a shining example of that optimistic spirit. Speaker Nick Vujicic born with congenital disabilities, from childhood had no arms and legs, but with extraordinary determination, courage to face his own disability, he became an inspiration for resilience and belief in life for many audiences worldwide. Let's get closer, we still cannot help but admire cancer patients who remain optimistic every day, singing for each other, loving each other, sharing, exercising, and encouraging each other. We cannot help but be moved by the dream of one day becoming a teacher teaching children, a doctor treating the poor, or a pilot... of unfortunate children with serious illnesses. They are the students who, despite getting low scores in the semester exams, never lose heart, continue to try.
