How to determine the standard format of your HDD - FAT, FAT 32, or NTFS
Step 1: Begin by opening My Computer from your desktop.
Step 2: Next, right-click on drive C/D and select Properties.
Now, on the General tab, observe the File system section. It will indicate the format of the drive you are using. For example, mine is NTFS.
