For PC users
- Delete row : Alt + E, then press D in Google Chrome and Alt + Shift + E, then press D in other browsers
- Delete column : Ale + E, then press E in Google Chrome and Alt + Shift + E, then press E in other browsers.
For MAC
- Delete row : Ctrl + Option + E, then press D
- Delete column: Ctrl + Option + E, then press E

If you're using a Windows computer and know how to use the Ctrl or Shift keys to select multiple cells at once, deleting rows and columns is likely a familiar task. If you're not familiar with Windows, try the following:
Hold Ctrl and click on the rows and columns to select all. Then right-click and choose 'Delete selected rows/columns'
If you're deleting a sequence of rows and columns, hold the Shift key , click on the first cell of the sequence, then select to the last cell. Everything will be highlighted. Then right-click and choose 'Delete selected rows/columns'

Download and install it if you find it suitable. The application will install a driver named 'Remove Blank Rows'. It will locate spreadsheets and delete all empty rows and columns with just one click. It also allows you to undo any changes.
