PasGo presents a selection of delightful Low Carb dishes, aiming to aid your weight loss journey.
Low carb introduces a novel and distinctive weight loss method, shattering conventional weight loss beliefs. Its principle revolves around drastically reducing carbohydrate intake, the primary culprit for abdominal fat accumulation and sugar cravings.
1. Meatball Soup with Cilantro
Ingredients:
- 500g minced meat
- 1 large purple onion, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons of seasoning powder
- 400ml coconut milk
- 2 carrots, sliced 1 cm thick
- 1/2 bell pepper, seeded and diced
- A handful of fresh cilantro leaves
Instructions:
- Mix minced meat with chopped onions, salt, black pepper, and seasoning powder.
- Shape into round meatballs and place in a bowl, then put into a pot of water. Steam for about 10 minutes until the meat is cooked through.
- Combine coconut milk with 200ml of water over medium heat until boiling, then add the steamed minced meat from earlier. Pour in the remaining steaming liquid from the bowl.
- Simmer gently for 5 minutes, then add the carrots. Continue cooking for another 10 minutes until the carrots are slightly tender. Then add the red bell pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, then turn off the heat.
- Serve in small bowls. Garnish with cilantro leaves and sprinkle with a little black pepper.

2. Meat-Stuffed Rolled Eggs
Ingredients:
- Eggs: 6 pieces
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 3 carrots, thinly sliced
- 4 spring onions, cut into segments
- 300g stir-fried minced meat
- Soy sauce
Instructions:
- Beat eggs with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Stir-fry carrots until soft, then transfer to a bowl.
- In the same pan, add the spring onions and stir-fry. Once the onions are cooked, remove them from the pan.
- Use a small ladle to pour the beaten eggs into the pan. Spread into a thin layer and wait for about 2 minutes until the eggs are fully cooked.
- Flip the pan onto a cutting board lined with parchment paper lightly greased with cooking oil.
- Place the spring onions, carrots, and minced meat onto the egg, then roll it up like a spring roll.
- Dip in soy sauce with minced chili when eating.

3. Stuffed Bell Peppers with Minced Meat
Ingredients:
- Bell peppers: 5 pieces
- 500g minced meat
- 50g shiitake mushrooms
- Spring onions
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 2 teaspoons of black pepper
- 2 teaspoons of cooking oil
Instructions:
- Rinse bell peppers, cut off the top portion and remove the stem, then scoop out the inner core.
- Wash and finely chop spring onions.
- Soak shiitake mushrooms in warm water until soft, then finely chop them.
- Marinate minced meat with salt, black pepper, cooking oil, mix well, and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Add spring onions and chopped shiitake mushrooms to the marinated minced meat, then mix well.
- Stuff the minced meat mixture into the bell peppers, making sure to fill them up to the top so that the meat expands perfectly when steamed or grilled.
- Place the stuffed bell peppers in a steamer basket over boiling water to cook until tender. Alternatively, they can be baked in the oven until done.

4. Stuffed Eggplants Oven-Baked
Ingredients:
- Ground beef: 300g
- 3 large eggplants, halved lengthwise, seeds removed and soaked in diluted salt water (to prevent discoloration)
- 1 large carrot, finely diced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 2 teaspoons of MSG
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions:
- Mix the meat with salt, MSG, black pepper, carrots, and onions in a bowl.
- Use a spoon to scoop the filling into the eggplants, press firmly to prevent from bursting during baking.
- Bake in the oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately while still hot.

5. Seafood Sour Soup
Ingredients:
- Squid: 100g
- Shrimp: 150g
- Crab meat: 50g
- Tomato: 1 piece
- Cleaned and diced: morning glory, chili peppers
- Minced garlic
- Ripe tamarind: 30g
- Seasonings: Salt, black pepper, fish sauce, cooking oil.
Instructions:
- Cut squid into bite-sized pieces, peel shrimp. Marinate shrimp and squid with 1 teaspoon of black pepper and 1 teaspoon of salt.
- Marinate crab meat with black pepper and stir-fry briefly.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil with minced garlic, stir-fry seafood until fragrant.
- Bring 1 liter of water to boil, then add 1/3 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of seasoning powder, 1/2 bowl of tamarind water. Add the stir-fried seafood and vegetables, simmer until boiling, then turn off the heat. Season with 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, add chopped morning glory and sliced chili peppers.
- Cook until done, then ladle into bowls and serve hot.

6. Steamed Pork with Salted Egg Yolk
Ingredients:
- Ground pork: 300g
- 6 salted egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- Salt
- Half an onion
- Green onions
Instructions:
- Peel and wash the onion, then dice it finely.
- Wash and finely chop the green onions.
- Mix the diced onion, chopped green onions, and 1 tablespoon of salt with the ground pork. Mix well.
- Separate the salted egg yolks.
- Place the marinated meat in a steaming tray, then place the salted egg yolks on top, gently pressing them into the meat.
- Put the tray into a steamer. Steam over boiling water for 20 - 30 minutes until cooked.

7. Boiled eggs topped with mayonnaise
Ingredients:
- 8 eggs from native chickens
- 2 duck eggs
- 1 piece of laughing cow cheese
- Mayonnaise sauce, fruit vinegar
- Pork belly: 100gr
- ½ onion
Instructions:
- Hard-boiled chicken and duck eggs, cooled and peeled.
- Only use the duck egg yolks, beat them in a large bowl.
- Finely chop the green onions.
- Thinly slice the pork belly, marinate with 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 2 teaspoons of salt, then fry until golden brown in a pan. Once cooked, transfer the pork onto a plate, then sauté the chopped green onions until fragrant.
- Cut the meat into small pieces.
- Gradually add cheese, 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, fragrant sautéed green onions, and golden-brown pork belly slices into a bowl containing duck egg yolks. Mix well by hand to blend the seasonings.
- Halve the chicken eggs, then spread the mixture of mayonnaise and pork belly... on top of each half. When eating, you can also prepare a bowl of spicy and sour dipping sauce to drizzle over each egg.

8. Grilled beef wrapped in betel leaves
Ingredients:
- Beef: 400 grams
- Betel leaves: 100 grams
- Fresh ginger: 1 small piece
- Chili peppers: 3 pieces
- Lemongrass: 5 stalks
- Seasonings: dried shallots, seasoning powder, MSG, fish sauce, pepper, cooking oil.
- Roasted peanuts, aromatic herbs
- Method:
- Rinse the beef thoroughly, finely chop. Then put it in a large bowl, marinate with spices: lemongrass, ginger, dried shallots, garlic, chili, and chopped betel leaves, along with 1 teaspoon of MSG, 1 teaspoon of fish sauce, 1 teaspoon of seasoning powder, ½ teaspoon of pepper, and ½ teaspoon of cooking oil.
- Remove the dirty part of the betel leaf stem, wash and drain.
- Spread the betel leaves out, put a small spoonful of meat on the outside of the betel leaf, roll it up. You can use toothpicks or the betel leaf stem to secure.
- Place the beef wrapped in betel leaves on the grilling rack, brush a thin layer of oil, then grill over medium heat for about 15 minutes until fragrant.

9. Salad rolled eggs
Ingredients:
- Eggs: 3 pieces
- Tomatoes: 2 pieces
- Cucumbers: 2 pieces
- Lettuce
- Vinegar, salt, seasoning
Method:
- Peel and cut cucumbers into long, 1cm thick pieces
- Season the cucumbers with a bit of seasoning, vinegar, and sugar in a bowl until sweet and sour.
- Crack the eggs into a bowl, season with a bit of seasoning for flavor, beat until blended. Spread the eggs thinly.
- With 3 eggs, we can spread them twice.
- Wait for the eggs to cool slightly, then spread them out and place lettuce leaves on top to cover the surface.
- Slice the tomatoes thinly and layer them on top.
- Then layer cucumber slices. Note not to layer too thick, it will be difficult to roll.
- Finally, roll it up and enjoy.

10. Shrimp and pork wrapped in mustard greens:
Ingredients:
- Pork belly: 200gr
- Rock shrimp: 150gr
- Chinese mustard greens
- Scallions, fish sauce, diet sugar, tamarind juice
- Garlic, chili
Instructions:
- Clean the pork, boil until cooked, slice thinly.
- Clean the shrimp, boil until cooked, peel, leaving the tail intact.
- Blanch the spring onions in boiling water briefly, then soak in ice water to preserve the green color.
- Pick individual leaves of bok choy, wash thoroughly.
- Select large, intact bok choy leaves, cut them in half lengthwise, remove the stems.
- Spread out the bok choy leaves, then layer with a layer of pork, shrimp on top.
- Roll it up and tightly tie it with spring onion.
- Make tamarind fish sauce: Soak dried tamarind in water until soft. Finely chop garlic, sauté until golden, then pour in tamarind water, season with 1 tablespoon of diet sugar, 1 tablespoon of fish sauce. Simmer until thickened.
- Pour the tamarind fish sauce into a bowl, add a few slices of chili according to your spicy taste.
