With only an onion left in the house and craving for a delicious snack, why wait? Let's whip up a plate of crispy and fragrant onion bimbim right away!
In our household, we have a tradition where every weekend, I get a break from cooking, and my husband takes the family out... for some snacks! Usually, we don't venture far, just to Pepperonis on Nguyen Du (it's close by, affordable, and most importantly, our kid loves it).

Aside from Pizza, Pepperonis offers a variety of delicious and unique dishes to indulge in.
At Pepperonis, most people usually opt for pizza, as it's the main dish here and also heavily discounted. If you're dining solo, you can get a large pizza at a 40% discount, or if you're with the family, go for the Family Deal set, which offers discounts up to 190k. If your family or group of friends plan to visit Pepperonis next time, make sure to check out these deals to save some money!
Pepperonis isn't just about pizza; there are plenty of other fantastic dishes to enjoy, like BBQ ribs, beef spaghetti, special salads, garlic bread, Italian cheese sticks, chicken soup with cream, seafood fried rice, and more. Most of these dishes are relatively easy to make at home; with the right ingredients, you can whip them up in fifteen to twenty minutes (though they might not be as delicious as Pepperonis, they're still quite satisfying—I've tried them many times).

Here are a few DIY onion bimbim recipes for you to try.
Today, I want to introduce everyone to a super easy dish commonly found at Pepperonis. Unlike other dishes that require intricate ingredients, if you have some free time at home and want a snack while watching a movie, for example, and find there's nothing much in the fridge, take a few minutes to make some bimbim with just 1 or 2 onions!
Ingredients needed:
+ 2 onions, 1 egg, 75g all-purpose flour, 200g breadcrumbs, 120ml fresh milk (with or without sugar, as per your preference)
+ Cooking oil, 1 teaspoon salt
First, peel off the outer skin of the onions, wash them thoroughly, and slice them into approximately 1cm thick rings. Separate the onion rings and let them drain.
Mix 15g of flour with fresh milk, ensuring the batter is not too thin. Add in the egg, beat well, and season with a pinch of salt for flavor.
Heat the oil and reduce to low heat. Dip each onion ring into the milk and egg mixture, then coat with flour, followed by breadcrumbs. Repeat the process of dipping in milk and coating with breadcrumbs twice to ensure even coverage around the onion rings. Then, carefully place them into the hot oil and fry until golden brown. Remove and drain excess oil.

3 preparatory steps before frying the onions to make bimbim
Now you can enjoy the crispy onion bimbim with chili sauce or tomato ketchup. Alternatively, toss them with cheese powder, sour plum powder, etc., to add an extra layer of flavor to your bimbim, ensuring it's tastier and crunchier than even the packaged ones from the store!
Above is my usual method to recreate Pepperonis' crispy beer-battered onion rings with spicy chili sauce. Even though it's not as tempting as dining out late, enjoying it at home is still great, plus it's easy, quick, and cost-effective!

This dish goes well with chili sauce, ketchup, or mayonnaise.
When you visit Pepperonis, besides pizza, make sure to read through the entire menu. The further you go, the more delicious and enticing dishes you'll find. Every time I go, I always struggle to decide what to order because every dish seems worth trying!
