Enhance your breakfast with this golden, soft daisy bread, torn into strips for easy eating. It's lightly sweet but incredibly rich and satisfying. Let's make it together to treat your family.
Ingredients:
350 grams of wheat flour
100g softened butter (use animal butter, folks)
2 eggs (take out 1/2 egg and mix with a bit of fresh milk separately for brushing on the cake)
5g brown yeast
65ml warm milk
40g sugar
1/3 salt
Sliced almonds
Instructions
Step 1: Activate yeast by mixing it with warm milk and 30g of flour, let it sit for 15 minutes until foamy (mandatory step).
Step 2: Combine flour, butter, 1.5 eggs, and sugar in a large bowl. Then add the yeast mixture, wear gloves and knead until the dough is smooth and not sticky (slightly sticky dough yields delicious bread). Let the dough rest for 45 minutes to rise.

Step 3: After the resting time, knead the dough briefly for 5 minutes.
Divide the dough into 3 equal parts. Roll each portion into long logs.
Shape the dough into 3 strands like braiding hair.

Place the bread in a greased mold. Cover with a cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes to allow the dough to rise again. Then brush with a beaten egg and sprinkle almonds on top of the bread.

Step 4: Preheat the oven to 165°C for 20 minutes. Place the bread mold in the middle of the oven and bake for 30 - 35 minutes until the bread is golden brown.

If there's leftover daisy bread, store it in a sealed plastic bag. The delicious bread has a soft crust, chewy interior, and a crumbly texture. Tear the bread into pieces to enjoy.

Wishing you success and savory delight with your daisy bread.
