Vostro 3580 boasts a robust chassis and impressive specifications, but its design is outdated, still retaining both VGA port and DVD optical drive.

Dell introduced the Vostro 3580 in August 2019, but its design shares many similarities with the same line of laptops from 2015-2016. The machine features a sturdy metal frame, a black plastic shell with square grain patterns for a solid, durable feel, but lacks the modern, youthful look seen in many competitors in the same segment from HP or Asus.

Unlike newer models in the 13 to 15 million VND segment from Asus or Lenovo, the Vostro 3580 still has relatively thick screen bezels. However, it compensates with a large 15.6-inch screen size and high resolution of Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Additionally, this is a rare model with a fingerprint sensor.

The laptop features 3 USB ports, an HDMI port, headphone jack, SD card slot, and a dedicated power jack on the side. Notably, despite being launched in 2019, this model still retains the VGA port and even a DVD optical drive - features that are no longer common on most new laptops.

Weighing at 2.1 kg, the laptop is quite reasonable for a 15.6-inch model. However, some recent products with similar dimensions have managed to reduce weight to around 1.9 kg, such as the HP Pavilion 15.

The Vostro 3580 is configured with an Intel Core i5-8265U processor running at 1.6 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, a 1 TB hard drive, and comes pre-installed with Windows 10, with a reference price of around 13.8 million VND.
