Embarking on the journey up Mount Ba Den since the previous evening, witnessing the sunset, camping overnight, and welcoming the dawn is an adventure worth experiencing at least once.
Descending as dusk falls, we rally to climb Mount Ba Den and admire the sky's expanse of clouds.
Mount Ba Den has long been a captivating destination for adventurous souls, drawn not only to conquer the mountain, admire sunsets and sunrises, or chase clouds, but also to challenge themselves and form countless connections with wandering spirits.

Mount Ba Den, situated approximately 11 km from the city center of Tay Ninh, towering over 980 m, stands as the tallest and most challenging peak in the southern region. There are various routes to the summit: the temple path (the shortest but steepest, littered with challenging boulders), the electricity pole route (the easiest and most popular), the Ma Thien Lanh route (difficult and lengthy), and the White Stone Slope route (the most challenging, suitable only for those with excellent health).
Hiking during the day makes it easier to appreciate the scenery with fewer risks, albeit under the scorching sun. However, hiking at night offers numerous exciting experiences: witnessing the sunset gradually fade, using a flashlight to navigate, and feeling lost amidst the mountainous forest shrouded in darkness...

If you begin hiking at 5 p.m., you'll reach the summit of the mountain around 10 p.m. A smaller group with good health can ascend in 3-4 hours, while larger or inexperienced groups may take 5-6 hours. Each member will need to carry between 7 to 10 kg, including personal items, water, food, and camping gear... In the first hour, you may feel fatigued due to the heat... but in return, you'll be rewarded with numerous beautiful scenes, with the radiant sunset gradually disappearing behind banana plantations, villages...
The nighttime scenery at Ba Den is even more stunning if observed around 7-8 p.m., as the streets are brighter. The night at Ba Den is mystical with thick veils of mist, limited visibility of 5 meters, slightly cold weather, and the space below the mountain is romantic with street lights already lit, illuminating the entire sky. From the mountain peak, gazing towards the east, the mist at 1 a.m. dampens the dark forests, bushes, creating incredibly alluring, magical scenes.

According to experienced hikers at Ba Den, to capture a beautiful sunrise with lovely clouds, it must rain the previous night so the clouds can float gracefully in the wind; otherwise, the morning will only be misty and cold. You should wake up early around 5 a.m. to witness the sunrise; don't be too late because within seconds, you might miss the beautiful moments of the sky. Around 5:45 a.m., the sun rises red in the sky, casting pink rays onto Dau Tieng Lake, painting the countryside with vibrant life. If you haven't seen the sunrise at Ba Den, it's as if you haven't set foot here. No matter where you are, Ba Den at sunrise is always beautiful in everyone's eyes. Waking up early in a distant place, you'll be bestowed with scenes that are hard to forget.
