If you embark on the mountain climb at 5 p.m., you'll reach the summit around 10 p.m. A smaller group with good health can ascend within 3-4 hours, while larger or less experienced groups may take 5-6 hours. Each member should carry between 7 to 10 kilograms, including personal gear, water, food, and tents. In the first hour, you'll feel weary due to fatigue and hot weather, but in return, you'll be treated to countless beautiful scenes, with the crimson sunset gradually fading behind banana groves and villages.
The night view at Ba Den is enhanced if observed around 7-8 p.m. as the street lights are brighter then. The night at Ba Den is enchanting with a thick veil of mist, visibility about 5 meters, cool weather, and the space below the mountain glittering with the already lit street lights, illuminating the entire sky. From the mountaintop, gazing towards the east, the mist at 1 a.m. moistens the dark forests, grass, and signs all across the sky, creating incredibly enticing and magical scenes.

According to experienced mountain trekkers at Ba Den, to catch a sunrise with beautiful clouds, it must rain the night before so that the clouds can drift leisurely in the wind; otherwise, the morning will only be filled with heavy mist and chilly winds. You should wake up around 5 a.m. to witness the sunrise; don't be too late as just a few seconds pass, and you'll miss the beautiful moments of the sky. Around 5:45 a.m., the sun turns red against the sky, casting pink rays onto Dau Tieng Lake, painting the new day's rural landscape with vitality. If you haven't witnessed the sunrise at Ba Den, it's like you haven't set foot here at all. Regardless of where you are, Ba Den at sunrise is always beautiful in everyone's eyes. Waking up early in a distant place, you'll be bestowed with scenes that are unforgettable.
