II. Sample Essay: Describing a Park You've Visited
During the summer break, my parents took me to visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. Afterwards, my family stopped by the nearby Bach Thao Park for sightseeing, and I was truly impressed by the scenery in this park.
Upon entering the gate, I was amazed by the park, although not very large, it was covered in lush greenery. Stepping in, the bustling life of Hanoi seemed to pause at the gate, and I could feel the tranquility and serenity. The park consists of hills, small forests, and a lake. On the small piece of land in the park, there are many rare and large trees, along with orchid baskets displaying vibrant colors and colorful ornamental plants. The park has small grassy hills and a lively blue water fountain. Along the paths are rows of clean stone benches for people to sit and relax. The scenery here is so peaceful and serene!
In the park, various recreational activities of people are lively. The elderly are practicing tai chi, the young ladies are doing rhythmic exercises, and college students are chatting while jogging. There is even a playground for children where we can play on swings, slides, and thrilling roller coasters, all of which are fun and educational games. Immersed in the cool green space for playing, I feel more in love with life and nature than ever.
