II. Sample Essay Describing a Goose
In our rural family, my mother raises numerous chickens and ducks in our backyard. A few months ago, my cousin presented my mother with a sizable goose. Since the arrival of the goose, both the garden and the pond at home have become lively and bustling.
This goose belongs to the lion goose breed, giving it a somewhat fierce appearance. It has a large physique, weighing almost four kilograms. The goose, having been raised for quite some time, boasts sleek, shiny feathers blending white and gray, with a few brown-feathered spots. Its lion goose's neck is remarkably long, adorned with a layer of silky neck feathers that enhance its proud beauty. Despite its small head, it stands out with sharp black eyes and a long, black beak, aiding in both gripping prey and foraging for food with ease. Its wings are long and sturdy, flapping and beating regularly as if to exercise and maintain its health. The goose's body is robust, with strong and cautious steps, always carefully treading each step. Its legs, akin to duck legs but black, feature webbed skin between the toes like oars, facilitating easy swimming in the pond.
Every day, in the early morning hours, the goose often utters a 'quack quack,' flapping its wings, taking short flights as a warm-up to boost its health. It ventures into the garden, using its robust beak to find food; its preferred delicacies include grass and grains. During the scorching summer, it immerses itself in the pond, bathing in the cool, green water and frolicking with other animals. The goose is also ready to engage in combat with any adversary vying for food, always emerging victorious due to its excellent health and fierce fighting techniques.
